Encounters’ opening 30th March 2024 at the Gallery at Grande Provence.
Pushing the line between realism and the abstract, Everett Duarte focuses on the emotion of an experienced encounter with an animal. Flow and movement with the use of contrasted marks of colour, allow raw power and elegance to form each unfolding creature. His work seems to occupy a state of constant transition and perpetual movement, intertwined into our story of existence.

Amongst the wide offering of African beads and textiles, The Shop has a new selection of the ever popular Namji Fertility Dolls. The Namji tribe is famous for their wooden dolls carved with geometric features and adorned with multi-coloured bead necklaces, cowrie shells, coins, metal strips, fibre and leather. These pieces are handcrafted, each with an individual design.
