The tranquil surroundings of the Grande Provence vineyards in Franschhoek make for the most amazing, secret elopement.
Wedding feature: Amo and Zanele
Zanele & Amo’s wedding at Grande Provence was definitely one of the highlights of the season so far! To work with a couple that is so in love and so comfortable with each other is an absolute joy! It is just so much easier to get that creative juices flowing when you have a stunning couple like them to work with.
But a lot of the credit for this wedding should go to the dream team that put all the elements together. It was amazing to work with Anneke of AnnaH Styling again. It is almost impossible to get stressed when doing a wedding with her. A planner so in control, on time and relaxed helps a lot to put everyone at ease! But credit should also go to Fleur le Cordeur, Okasie, Dan Shout, Vivid Blue Studio and all the other vendors that helped to make this day so memorable.
Both bride and groom got ready at Maison Cabriere Boutique Suites, less than 5 mins away from Grande Provence. If you are looking for a clean, modern setting to do your preps in Franschhoek, then look no further. Amo and Zanele arrived in Style! Amo in a vintage cream Rolls Royce and Zanele in a stunning vintage Bentley – both from SA Classics
What made this wedding at Grande Provence so special, was the outdoor ceremony setting! On the perfect summers day, in the shade of a massive pine tree with the towering Franschhoek mountains on the horizon – What a stunning spot to exchange life long vows!
From there, guests were ushered to the lawn in front of the manor house where they enjoyed champagne and canapés in the shade of the massive age-old oak tree. The grounds at Grande Provence is something to marvel at. The Cape Durch style, the perfectly manicured grounds, the many Anton Smit sculptures around every corner – wow – this place is a photographers dream! We had so much fun with the couple shoot!
The reception was held in the Gallery. All the works of art and sculptures were carefully removed to allow for two long tables, beautifully decorated and candlelit in the evening. After all the formalities, the wedding party moved to the restaurant, which as also emptied and transformed into an after party venue. What a stunning day, working with such talented vendors!
